The Nelle Headquarters Update

It’s All Happening
Our beloved headquarters building is progressing and getting dolled up for your arrival! As it nears midway in the beautification process, we are beginning to reach out to mill workers and local interior design shops.
LOCATION
In the heart of KC’s Crossroads neighborhood, The Nelle HQ sits at 1818 McGee Street, between 18th and 19th. We are proudly tucked between Novel, Green Lady Lounge, Christopher Elbow Chocolates and countless other local spots. Crossroads Arts District is everything we love about Kansas City: local, walkable, artistic, and thriving. We are proud to be a new member of the Crossroads scene.
DESIGN
The Nelle HQ building has three floors of historic goodness. We are making it a priority to keep historic elements, while updating where needed. That means exposed brick, casement windows, terrazzo flooring and wood details will remain. We’ll add velvet sofas, vintage rugs, crystal chandeliers, delicate accent pieces and bold artwork.
The first floor has a beautiful open floor plan with plenty of living space. A smaller nook off the second floor offers perfect library vibes, and the top floor will be a stylish gym with a sunlit space for group classes. Cocktail, coffee and smoothie bars are being fitted. Next up, we will taste-test all menu ideas.
We are also working on the plans for our spa and full-service restaurant. We’ve been meeting with interested spa partners - drop us a note if you know of the perfect fit.
PROGRAMMING & SAFETY
The Nelle HQ will be our space, one where you can feel at ease and welcome and safe. We can’t wait to have a proper place to gather and relax. A dedicated space just for our members, with all the social programming you could want: movie nights, cocktail classes, live book readings, happy hours, self-care sessions, comedy nights, and more.
We are also proud of our sponsor program, which has helped award several full memberships. More details to come on sponsorship options.
To ensure your safety, we are working on a membership app. The app will allow you to check in and out of the club and group classes, as well as see the number of members present at any given time. This is an ongoing discussion and we may implement other strategies, all with your safety and comfort in mind.
